Breitling Unveils Galactic 36 SleekT Watch

In the spirit of building instruments for professionals, Breitling unveils the new Galactic 36 SleekT. Elegant and sophisticated, the slim Galactic 36 SleekT features a tungsten carbide bezel and a chronometer-certified SuperQuartz™ movement. The slimmed down timepiece is geared for women, with a host of options so it can be worn for business, sport or even dress.
The smooth tungsten carbide bezel is composed of an ultra-resistant high-tech tungsten powder that has been molded at high temperature and under extreme pressure, resulting in a scratch-proof material that is five times harder than steel. The ergonomic 36mm steel case is accented with a five-row link steel bracelet. The watch is offered with either a black lacquered dial or mother-of-pearl dial, and comes with or without diamond markers and with a choice of a diamond-set steel bezel.
The watch is water resistant to 100 meters, features a sapphire crystal that is glareproofed on both sides, and has luminescent hands and larger markers. The Breitling Caliber 74 is an officially chronometer-certified SuperQuartzTM movement that is precise to 10 times more than standard quartz. Among the functions offered: battery end-of-life (EOL) indicator and calendar.
